For more information about human anatomical variations see:

- Topographic Anatomy
Most of the black-white graphics were designed by Stefan Kubik (MD, Prof. em. +);  few graphics were made by B. Meister
Colour pictures derive from digitized photographs of lecture panels that belonged to the Institute of Anatomy at the University of Zurich. The pictures were painted by E. Brändli, between 1943 – 1952.
The following images were designed by Sabine Freiermuth in the context of her Bachelor of Graphic Design and Illustration at the Luzern University of Applied Sciences and Arts (2009) and at a sabbatical at the UWA (2010): arteries and nerves of the upper and lower limbs, surface anatomy of the thorax, abdominal regions and abdominal organs.
